There are currently no planned Scissor Workshops, however, feel free to contact us with expressions of interest, and you just never know, we may be able to do a special one-off workshop with you or your salon.

Currently, there are no Cutting Workshops planned for 2025, but that's not to say there won't be any.

We offer these workshops to Salon Owners, Individual Stylists and 
Education Institutes covering the Lower North and South Islands

The information within the Workshops is not about new styles, but they will show you how to go about achieving the cut or style you and your customers want.
These workshops are informative, technical, and very hands-on for all stylists at any stage of their career. 
By solely focusing on the cut of each scissor and the effect it gives to the hair, Approach Angles, Hand Grip, Body Posture, New Cutting Techniques, and correct scissor maintenance.

Each participant will be given their kit of six scissors, valued at around $6,000 to use within these Workshops. 
The classes will have no more than 12 cutters; this way, everyone will receive individual one-on-one personal help to reassure them about any aspects within the workshop that they don't understand. 
We will not move on to the next Scissor / Cut until everyone has fully comprehended the tool in-hand.

Normally hosted at a Lower Hutt Venue........however, we do offer and prefer salons to book their own In-Salon Workshops and for us to travel to you. 
  
We can also accommodate salons who require an after-hours seminar at no extra charge, any day of the week.

This is a focused look to encourage you to attend our workshops, however, they are educational and will inspire you.

OUR FULL PACKAGE 
Highly Recommended are Hands-On and Technical Workshops. 
There are two choices for this Workshop: (both have the same workshop content).

An in-salon workshop, at your salon

A workshop at our Lower Hutt venue, or join in with another salon's workshop.

Cost: $200 (incl GST) per attendee (Wellington Clients).
Cost: $250 (incl GST) per attendee (rest of NZ)

In addition to Option One, attendees will receive a four-hour educational session with RJ from A Sharper Blade or Pete Walstab from Excellent Edges. Hairdressers and educators with more than 50 years of Worldwide experience combined.
